Our interns are individuals who are actively pursuing their license in Christian Pastoral Counseling and/or advanced degrees through the Soul Care Ministries Institute.
Those who are accepted into our internship program have already earned certifications, diplomas, and/or degrees in a related field such as Biblical counseling, pastoral counseling, pastoral care, or Christian life coaching. During this phase of their training, they are required to complete a practicum. Their practicum provides you with the opportunity to receive Christian counseling, or life coaching, while only making a modest contribution.
Our volunteers are individuals who are certified to provide lay counseling services. Others serve as pastoral counseling assistants.
Whether you are working with an intern or a volunteer, you can be assured that the service you receive will be provided with strict confidence. As their leader, clinical supervisor, and professional mentor; I stand ready to help them serve you with professional excellence.
As a faith-based nonprofit organization, we depend upon mst fees/contributions for services, and charitable donations, in order While our interns and volunteers cannot personally accept remuneration, your contributions will help us cover basic expenses necessary to keep the interns and volunteers program available as a viable option.to keep our ministry viable. Our standard fees, for this level of service, are more than $800 when provided by one of our licensed pastoral counselors. When working with an intern or volunteer, we ask that you consider contributing a minimum of $50/session (face-to-face) or $25/session (telephone or email) to Soul Care Ministries International, Inc. By law, contributions for services are not tax deductible.
We feel that everyone who desires faith-based counseling and life coaching should have access to it. It is only because of the generous support, provided by people like you, that we are able to offer these professional services. We request and appreciate your financial contributions as follows:
- $75 fee (required) for the Arno Profile System (A.P.S.) temperament analysis profile recommended by the intern or volunteer, and
- Pay-it-Forward with contributions for the services rendered. While our interns and volunteers cannot personally accept remuneration, your contributions will help us cover basic expenses necessary to keep the interns and volunteers program available as a viable option.
Our preferred payment method is PayPal.com. You may remit your fees and contributions via our PayPal account utilizing your VISA or Master Card. If you do not have a PayPal account, you may simply click the option that says: ‘Pay with a debit or credit card, or PayPal Credit’. You are not required to already have or set up a PayPal account. If you do not have a credit card, or debit card with credit logo, you may purchase a pre-paid card with a VISA logo or a PayPal card, at a local vendor, in order to remit your payments. For your convenience, you may remit fees and contributions below:
Enrollment, in counseling or life coaching, requires that you complete the necessary Intake Forms. The intern or volunteer will provide you with the necessary questionnaire(s) and enrollment forms.
